Resetting a lost e-mail password
You can reset your e-mail account passwords using the AMS control panel.
Resetting the password for an e-mail account
To reset the password for an e-mail account, follow these steps.- Log in as owner using your account number and its password.
- Click the "Manage e-mail accounts" link under the "E-mail" category tab.
- Select the domain name of the e-mail account whose password you wish to change. Select the "Change the password for an existing e-mail account" option and click "Next".
- Select the e-mail account whose password you wish to change. Enter a new password in the "New password" and "Confirm new password" fields, and click "Save".
Resetting the password for a legacy mailbox
To reset the password for a legacy numbered mailbox of the form "pop12345", follow these steps.- Log in as owner using your account number and its password.
- Click the "Manage mailboxes" link under the "E-mail" category tab.
- Select the user name of the hosting package under which the mailbox was created. Select the "Change a mailbox password" option and click "Next".
- Select the mailbox whose password you wish to change. Enter a new password in the "New password" and "Confirm new password" fields, and click "Save".
