Manage FrontPage extensions

Customers hosting websites on Windows Server can use AMS Control Panel to install, remove and recalculate the Microsoft FrontPage server extensions on their websites.

Steps to manage FrontPage server extensions

Using AMS Control Panel, you can add the Microsoft FrontPage server extensions to websites hosted on Windows Server, or you can recalculate the extensions to solve minor issues. You can also remove the extensions from websites completely.
  1. Log in to AMS Control Panel as owner, or as a user with a website hosted on Windows Server.
  2. Click the "Features" category tab, then click the "FrontPage extensions" link at left. A list of websites hosted on Windows Server appears, showing whether or not the sites have FrontPage extensions installed.

    • To add FrontPage extensions
      Click the name of the website. The FrontPage installation screen appears. Click "Finish" to install.

    • To remove FrontPage extensions
      Click the name of the website. The FrontPage maintenance screen appears. Select "Uninstall FrontPage server extensions", and click "Finish".

    • To recalculate your website
      Click the name of the website. The FrontPage maintenance screen appears. Select "Recalculate FrontPage server extensions", and click "Finish".
