Services and user names

Web hosting services like the Net Image and Web Starter packages are always associated with a unique user name and password.

Web hosting add-ons are associated with a package's user name

Korax sells web hosting packages, like the Net Image or Web Starter, that are accessed with user names and passwords. All services belonging to a package are linked to the user name for that package.

When managing your services in Control Panel, you'll do so by user name, as shown below. Managing services

Adding a new web hosting package

Every hosting package requires its own unique user name. When adding a new web hosting package such as the Net Image or Web Starter, you'll first have to add a new user. Follow the steps below to add a new user, and order the new hosting package.
  1. Log in to AMS Control Panel as owner.
  2. Click the "Services" category tab, then click the "Add a new user" link at left.
  3. Enter a user name and password, and click "Finish" to add the user.
  4. Click the "Manage services" link, and select the user you just added from the drop-down list.
  5. Select "Add a web site or domain names for this user", and click "Next".
  6. Select "Start web hosting services for one domain name", and click "Next".
  7. Enter the domain name of the website you want to start hosting with this package. Select whether or not the domain name exists. Click "Next". If it's a new domain name, you'll be asked to enter registration information for the domain name on the following screen. Proceed with these steps, then continue with the step below.
  8. Select the hosting package, and optionally select the hosting platform for this package, and click "Next".
  9. A confirmation screen is shown. To proceed with adding this package, click "Finish".

Deleting an unused user

If you decide you don't want to add a hosting package for a user you've created, you can delete the user. Select the user name, then select "Delete this user" from the list of options under the "Manage services" task, and follow the prompts.
