KoraxTransferring domain name registrations
In addition to web hosting services, Korax sells domain name
registration services. It doesn't matter which company you
originally purchased your domain name registration from. You can
transfer your domain registration to Korax simply by renewing it with us.
Transferring includes renewal
When transferring your registration, your domain name is renewed automatically for one to nine years. The renewal period you choose is added to the existing registration period of the domain (except, in rare cases, where prohibited by registry-imposed rules). For example, if you paid your previous provider for two years of registration, and you renew with Korax for one year, you'll have a total of three years' worth of registration.Conditions for transferring registration services
As long as the following conditions are met, you can transfer your domain name to Korax by renewing your domain name with us.- The administrative contact e-mail address listed in the registration is valid.
- Your domain name is not on hold for non-payment or other reasons.
- It has been at least sixty days since your domain name was first registered, or last transferred to another registration service provider.
- Preferrably, at least thirty days remain in the current registration period, to allow for any unforeseen delays during the transfer process. Generally, domain transfers from one registrar to another take about one week to complete.
