Your new account
Once you submit your order, and your service with us has been started, we'll send
you an introductory e-mail with details on how to publish your website, how to set up e-mail
addresses, and more. Much of the information in the e-mail is also contained at this
website, but the e-mail will be specific to the service you ordered.
Default e-mail forwarder
By default, we set up a
catch-all e-mail forwarder
which redirects all e-mail sent to your domain name to the contact e-mail address you provided
in your order. This ensures that any e-mail sent to your domain name will get to you,
even before you set up any e-mail addresses.
It's recommended that you
set up e-mail addresses
and then turn off the catch-all. This will reduce the amount of spam you receive.
Structure of your web space
Your web space on our servers is organized into a number of folders, each with a
specific purpose.
Viewing your website while your domain name is being moved
There may be a delay of twenty-four to forty-eight hours while your
domain name is being moved
to Korax. You may also have decided to delay the move, if you want to
publish your website to our servers before the move takes place.
When your account is set up, you are given an alternate address to view your site
from our servers while the move is taking place. Browse to
http://www.example.com.servername.korax.net, where
example.com is your own
domain name, and
servername is the name of the server your website is hosted on.
You can find this information in the introductory e-mail that is sent to you when your
account is activated.
